Day 1

Bhubaneswar Local

Upon arrival atBhubaneswar Airport/Railway station, transfer to hotel and checkin to the hotel (as per availability). After freshup visit Lingaraj Temple(Dedicated to Harihara, a combination of Lord Shiv & Vishnu, this temple was constructed in the 11th century, by JajatiKeshari, a Somavanshi king),Mukteswar temple(This temple that this becomes famous as “Gem of Odisha Architecture”), Kedar Gouri Temple. Then back to hotel & overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.

Day 2

Bhubaneswar–Olasingh-Bhubaneswar

Morning after early breakfast drive to Olasingh Weaver Village, famous for Tussar Silk Fabric. Explore the village by walk, visit their handloom unit with the village leader. Here you will witness also the classical tiger mask dance. Second half visit to Mangalozodi Eco village to sea Fishing Net weaving & Boat Making process. Mangalozodi is known for Bird Paradise & famous for Community based tourism. This is the best example for conservation of natural habitat & Ecology. Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.

Day 3

Bhubaneswar–Nuapatana–Maniabandha-Bhubaneswar

After breakfast visit Nuapatana textile village, the village has a distinct place in the map of Indian textiles, their TIE & DYE patterns popularly known as “IKAT”.  Then visit Maniabandha Textile village. Back to hotel & overnight at Bhubaneswar.

Day 4

Bhubaneswar–Gopalpur(Jajpur)–Bhubaneswar

After breakfast visit to Gopalpur village in Jajpur district. Gopalpur village is famous for producing Tussar fabrics. Itis in Jajpur District in the Indian state of Odisha. This handicraft received the Geographical Indicationtag by the Government of India in 2009. Tussar textiles are related to dhoti, joda, Shawlstole, scarves and saris. The production doing by three traditional method, Threading, Spinning & weaving. Females usually assist in reeling the tussar threads holding 'natai' in their right hand and unwinding the thread around the cocoons with their other hand. Twisting the filament, the weaver winds the yarns on the wooden 'natai' ata continuous speed. Embellishments are done by hand, either with extra weft or extra warp with a 'bandha' pattern in hand. The embellishments increase the value of the fabric. Alternatively, reeling machine sare available. Traditionally, threadiswound around the chadaki to fill the bobins (nali) for weft with the help of a spinningwheel (charakha).Gandhi charakha or wooden charakha have been replaced by a metal part. Fabric is woven using a 'cut shuttle technique', in which shuttles interlock with one another to form foda kumbha in the weft direction. Shuttles on both sides inter lock with the main shuttle for the main body of the fabic. By tie and dieb and ha technique, the foda kumbha pattern is copied for multiple productions. After visit the village back to hotel and overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.

Day 5

Bhubaneswar-Drop

After breakfast check-out from hotel then drive to Bhubaneswar then drop at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with sweet memories of Odisha.

Cancellation Policy

ü  For cancellations done prior to 45 days of departure, No cancellation fees would apply.

ü  For cancellations done between 31 to 44 days of departure, 25% cancellation fees would apply.

ü  For cancellations done between 21 to 30 days of departure, 50% cancellation fees would apply.

ü  For cancellations done between 11 to 20 days of departure, 75% cancellation fees would apply.

ü  For cancellations done within 10 days of departure, 100% cancellation fees would apply. No refunds would be made.

ü   In case of mechanical fault or miss happening, we will be requiring the time to reach there so as to replace the vehicle.

Travel Tips

1) Weather Conditions:

ü Pack your clothing depending on your location and the month of travel. For summers, full sleeves t-shirts to sweatshirts should be carried but for winters, heavy woolen clothing is recommended. 

ü Temperature in hills may change any moment, therefore, apart from the regular clothes you carry, a windcheater is a must.

ü If you wish to visit areas with heavy snowfall, you may rent gum boots from road side vendors available on your way. 

2) Id proofs

ü Government issued identity proofs need to be shown at the hotel or resort before check-in. Always keep the Id proof with yourself while travelling. Keep a digital copy of your documents in your mobile devices in case of loss or emergency. (Pan card won’t be acceptable) 

3) Safety Tips

ü Maintain distance with tourist guides, bus conductors, taxi drivers and local guides if you find them pressuring you to take their assistance. Don’t be rude, but decline their offers politely, 

ü Do not go out alone during late evenings and night. Always move in groups. 

ü Make a note of emergency numbers and details of the hotel where you are put in.

ü Avoid taking eatables offered by the local people in buses, taxis etc. 

ü Make sure all your expensive stuffs are kept in safety lockers of your hotel room. Carry just enough money. During your travel, keep your cameras and other devices safely in a bad and check regularly. 

ü Maintain a separate pouch to keep liquid cash handy. In case you are carrying more money or withdrew it from ATM, do not expose it in the public place 

ü Do not trust strangers. 

ü Always ask for authorized tourist guides who have a badge provided by the Indian Government.
